About #LDYHO

Line Dance Your Heart Out is an all day line dancing event aimed at providing opportunities to learn, dance, connect with other dancers, and grow our line dance community.

The inaugural event on February 28, 2026 is focused on bringing local Northern Colorado instructors together to create an unforgettable event for beginners and more experienced line dancers alike. The goal is that this can become a regular event with instructors from across Colorado and beyond, host National Teachers Association trainings and certifications for our instructors, and maybe even turn into a weekend-long event at some point. Start small, dream big.

About the Organizer

Erika - Founder of Line Dance Your Heart Out

Welcome to #LDYHO! My name is Erika, I'm the founder of Line Dance Your Heart Out, and a line dance instructor in Loveland, CO (Love Country Dancing on social media). I have been line dancing for over a decade and teaching line dancing for 5 years. I love seeing people connect on and off the dance floor. It is my desire to create more opportunities to foster these connections and a community of line dancers.

  • 8 line dancing workshops led by local instructors (choose up to 4)
  • 2+ hours of open dancing (before, in between, and after workshops)

  • Absolute Beginner/Beginner
  • Improver/Intermediate

We'll be dancing at NoCo Ballroom in Loveland, CO.

Lobby

When you walk in, you step into the spacious lobby area with the check-in desk and seating. You can use this space to change into your dance shoes, connect with other dancers, take a break from dancing, grab a snack, or capture fun memories at our photo booth.

Main Ballroom

Main Ballroom

The Main Ballroom has a beautiful 2,000 sq ft sprung dance floor. This is where half of our workshops and open dancing will take place. We will all start the event together here, our instructors will demo the dances they will be teaching, then mid-day we will also gather here for group pictures and an instructor showcase.

North Mountain Room

North Mountain Room

Up the stairs is the North Mountain Room with approximately 900 sq ft for dancing. Our smaller workshops will be held in this room. This space will turn into our Recharge Lounge in between workshops, during open dancing, and during the lunch break. Bring a yoga mat for a little stretch or a power nap to feel refreshed throughout the day.

Here's what you need to do to secure your spot: complete the #LDYHO Registration Form, AND purchase your ticket through the Early Bird Event Pass Square link (available through October 31), or the Regular Event Pass Square link (starting November 1)

Volunteer

Are you interested in volunteering at the February 28, 2026 Line Dance Your Heart Out event? If you would like to share your strengths and talents to help create an unforgettable event, keep reading to learn more about our volunteer opportunities. You can volunteer anywhere between 2 - 6 hours. Most of our volunteer opportunities allow you to still participate in the event during your volunteer shift, you just may have some additional responsibilities.

As a volunteer you will receive a discount on your event pass, as well as priority registration for the event. If you would like to volunteer at the Line Dance Your Heart Out event please complete the #LDYHO Volunteer Application after reading the descriptions of the volunteer roles below.

Volunteer Role Descriptions

Set up/ Tear down

Responsibilities:
  • set up chairs around the dance floor
  • gather chairs at the end of the event
  • set up/ tear down photobooth
  • set up/ tear down snacks table
  • set up/ tear down instructors table
Good fit for someone who:
  • wants to create a welcoming physical environment
  • likes doing the behind the scenes work
  • is an early bird
  • is physically able to carry chairs/ set up tables

Check-in Crew

Responsibilities:
  • check people in & welcome them to the event
  • help orient attendees to the space
  • answer questions about the event schedule
Good fit for someone who:
  • is welcoming
  • likes creating a great first impression
  • is organized and does well under pressure

Event Guides

Responsibilities:
  • mingle and connect with attendees
  • answer attendees' questions about the schedule/ event
  • direct attendees to the appropriate rooms for workshops
  • keep an eye out on the check-in desk after the event has started and help check people in if needed
Good fit for someone who:
  • is social and outgoing
  • loves connecting with people
  • wants people to feel welcome and a part of the community

Audio/ Technology

Responsibilities:
  • assist instructors with connecting their microphones and music to speakers
  • troubleshoot technical difficulties if needed
  • assist as backup for running music during open dancing
Good fit for someone who:
  • is tech savvy
  • wants to ensure the event runs smoothly
  • enjoys troubleshooting

Photography/ Video

Responsibilities:
  • take photos and videos during the event
  • help wrangle everyone into group photos (we'll have a tripod so you'll get to be in the pictures too)
  • note: professional equipment is not required; a cell phone will work just fine; no editing necessary
Good fit for someone who:
  • loves capturing special moments
  • has a keen eye
  • is creative
